My server is Nginx and PHP-FPM and MySQL
Was getting the dreaded Video upload failed (Video error)
In my case I tracked it down to the php.ini setting of mysql.allow_persistent
It was set to On; I set it to Off and restarted php-fpm and was able to upload a video without the error appearing.
So if you are getting the dreaded Video upload failed (Video error) you might want to check your php.ini file for the setting of mysql.allow_persistent.

Hi,i did exactly as you said,i set the mysql.allow_persistent to off but its still showing Video upload failed (Video error),please help.thanks |
I was having that error and sometimes it had no error at all it just did nothing when submitting.
What I did to fix it was installed all the default mods in the admin panel, Made sure my dns was set in both plesk and on my domain registrar and changed all the caches was set to APC. I cleared all the cache files in admin then in about 2 hours the whole thing was working perfectly.

That is why it states "Possible Fix" For me at the time that was the cause of the problem.

The RC is for testing 7.2 before the final. If you are getting this error, then you should post in the 7.2 forum about this issue.
