for me the problem was 777, i think the upgrade to 7.02 maybe changed my permissions back.

I’ve got the same problem. I can upload sounds but they would not be processed. Video - file error cannot upload at all. I tried to reinstall D7.0.2, created new DB installed dolphin but everything stays the same. I broke my head as it was working two weeks ago (under ffmpeg 755) and I didn’t make any changes except language translation. Another strange thing is that during data migration I’m getting All sound were transferred (0 items)” and endlessShared photos transfer now” that never finishes. I tried data transfer several times - the same result every time.

Just delete or remove the Cron jobs once and again put the cron jobs.  Clear the cache and wait till the next cron job is executed.  As soon as it is executed then you can find in the administration that the Videos or sounds are in the getting processed section. and after some time they will play .

This is what i did .

I don’t know what’s going with 7.0.2 two days ago I managed (not me, my Dolphin allowed me) to upload three mp3 tracks. When it works, sounds appear in two seconds in my album after I select category and click submit, because I have 256 MB memory and file itself is very small (2MB) everything processed on fly. I tried to upload video – file error. After some time, may be two hours later (I haven’t done anything with my site) sounds stop processing and I started to receive unprocessed files again. This not cron job problem as I force to execute script via browser every 10 sec. It seems that problem is in cron.php script, something wrong with it or it is some kind of ffmpeg compatibility issue. This is not the permission as when it works it works with both ffmpeg 755 and 777 for audio in my case. I can’t manage to upload any video since I installed 7.0.2

it is a kind of waggy all, not mature. I got similar issues. Sometime it worked then it stopped as if ghost scripts were in action.
