Video only show in "Not Processed"

After I upload a video file I instantly see it's thumbs in the "not processed" tab, but it's not becoming active.. so I can't watch it.. but the files are there in the flash/videos/files directory.. ready to be played..

From as far as I can see this is not from the cron jobs.. but what else can it be?

If you can see it in "Not processed" then the cron job has not ran to convert to yet. So either:

- you have not allowed enough time for it to convert

- your cron job is not setup properly

You can also try to go into your /periodic folder and rename the .htaccess file to something like .htaccess.old and then navigate to your cron job and manually run it.

Just type in your browser, for example,  www.mysite.com/periodic/cron.php (the page WILL be blank). After you have done that, go back to your video and see if it displays in you album instead of "not processed". *Note: you may need to clear your /cache*

If that works, then something is wrong with your cron job setup.

Thanks for reply! Well I tested all you said but nothing.. it's still in the not processed tab.. and I uploaded a 2mb video file just to make it easier..

The funny thing is that When I first installed D7 RC It worked.. I had to make a fresh install to RC3 and now is not working any more.. God is so frustrating!

As I said.. I don't think is from the Cron Jobs.. because the files are there in the files directory with all the thumbs ready to be loaded in the website..

Any other tips?

To test if your cron job isn't setup correctly run the cron.php manually after you upload a video and force an immediate running of cron.

Go to your /periodic/ directory and temporarily rename your .htaccess to 1.htaccess so you can run the file.  Now open your browser and upload a video.  Now type in http://www.site.com/periodic/cron.php  this will run the converter immediately.  Wait a few minutes and see if the video converted

If the video converted that means your cron job isn't setup correctly.  If the video does not convert likely you need to re-upload the flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe and ensure to set it to 777 permissions.
