Video embed.... am I missing something or just being purely stupid?

My site is not launched yet, but is growing and the biggest groan from members has been about video embeding.

I am not technical at all... so please answer in a simple manner if you do.

When I go to video on my site, I can select an album and then "add new video." It then gives me the drop down options including embed. I do the embed, and it works fine... loverly!..... BUT.... when I create a group and go to groups video upload there is no flash or embed option. Just the standard dolphin video upload option. (( I know there is the embed groups video))  but this will only allow to embed a single youtube video.

Is there a way to incorporate the "Embed" option into the "groups video upload" instead of just the default boonex upload method? Can the code be copied or modified and inserted into the groups module? Would a good coder be able to do this in jobs? I need my members to be able to upload multiple embeded videos into groups (preferably without having to rely on a3rd party module.

I launch the site in a little ove a weeks time, and I need to get a solution for this in place.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

I found that danielmarsille has a mod for a much nicer tiny_mce that allows much better options I feel. Uploading images easily direct from PC and PHP EMBED. I'm so not sure if this would resolve your issue Nathan, but it's worth shooting a message to find out if indeed it will help. Tiny_mce seems to have multiple plugins that can be added but i don't know if what your looking for is included in any of those plugin options.

I will check it out and see if it can help.... I really need to get video embed selection into groups and crews (clubs). I can not believe I do not have this... Am I missing something? Is there some option that I have not turned on? or does dolphin just not have this option? It has it nder the videos pannel, so why is it not implemented under Groups and Clubs? My members are going nutz!

Certainly my life got much better with the new tiny_mce.

There is a bump I'm dealing with now to get Profile Composer I just got, to recognize it though.

My "Create New Block" feature doesn't recognize this change, so I guess that would definitely be worth mentioning too. I think you have this mod. Anton's team is looking into things right now and I should know something by tomorrow.

The "Create New Block" currently has no tiny_mce in it at all. Adding an HTML block to pages in the Page Builder section works just fine mind you- My new tiny_mce shows up there and in messages, groups, blogs the whole bit. They are all fine. But Profile Composer doesn't know what's up at the moment. I'm confident Anton's team will resolve things though, so hang tight until tomorrow and I'll see if we don't have and answer here on this.
