Video comments

5 th beta and I still cant get profile video comments to work righ, shows the video but when you click to play it goes black, video uploads work fine, the file is converted and in the folder but the player doesnt seem to see it only the jpg image of it anyone have any ideas on tracking it down..thank

Does your other video work, such as group video?

If video uploading is working fine, you should see these five new files at

..\flash\modules\video\files\ sub directory

x.flv x.jpg x.mp4 x.mpg x_small.jpg if your video file is .mpg format.

Here x is a digit generated by D7, such as 1, 2 and so on.

If your site video uploading have problem, try to copy php.ini into ..\periodic\ sub directory

to see it work or not. My video uploading works fine at this way.

I have struggled to make video working since D7.B1 until B5 that I read some one's post to do so.

Yes all my video uploading works fine, all files are created, the problem is specific to video comments, once done the files are converted and after the 5 min it even shows the picture of video comment but when play is played it just sits there no file is played even though all have been created and are in the directory as stated in your pots... just doesnt play.. and only on comment video all other play just fine
