Video Comments Do Not Post - No Error

I can record the video and it processes.

Then it shows the video with the buttons to Preview or Re-record.

Clicking Preview plays the video

Clicking Re-record allows me to re-record it

But, clicking Post does nothing.

I tried with different accounts.

I can record a video into an album and it processes and appears in the album and plays without a problem.

All other videos, uploaded or embedded also play fine.

Just the post button seems to be inactive on the Video Comments.

I am now hosted on Joombyte, both site and RMS and everything else seems to be working properly.

I would appreciate any help, maybe I missed a setting somewhere.

was this the instance where the server had to have the ports open for RMS to be usable on remote. or joombyte provides their own RMS, but doesnt mean that the ports are open on the specific machine you are running on. please confer with your host to ensure that the necessary ports are open for the RMS throughput.

No DosDawg, this is not the same thing. You can record  a video comment and post just fine in albums, wall, and profile. However if you try to post a video comment on a members photo, video, etc. The video records but the button that says Post is greyed out. So all you can do is preview your recording or re-record it.

hmmm.  I searched a few times before posting this and didn't find that or I would not have posted this.  thought I knew how to search.  Sorry.

I thought you guys had it working from the other forum we were discussing the RMS hosting in.

So does that mean everyone using rc2 has this problem?

I know I am (on RC2) and I believe Patrick81 is also. As a matter of fact, I believe it was him that noticed it first. (I think)
