Username getting chopped in profile

I created a username with 20 characters e.g. "Thisismyusername". When I go to http://www.mysite.com/member.php, the username in the Profile box under the avatar is getting chopped after the 11th character i.e. "Thisismyuse"

The same happens when under search people as well, so it seems a site wide limit.

Is this a bug? Or do I need to force that the username cannot be more then 10 or 11 digits and if I have to, where do I set that up?

To restrict user length go to Builders>Profile and on the signup builder click on the Nickname block, click advanced and enter 11 as the max length

Thanks Maurice !!! I am not sure if the user's would like it though because 10 or 11 is pretty less, atleast it should be 16.

And I am not sure how it will behave for people who would use to 'facebook connect' to signup and have names greater then 10 or 11 digits....
