Upload OR Embed Videos Mod???

Come on, there has to be something like this. When it comes to uploading videos, is there a modification allowing users to choose to embed a video from like YouTube or any other type of site as an option? I would love to see something like this.

I am still a little annoyed that I haven't found a fix to allow embeded video within the profiles, blogs, or articles yet. This is a simple feature I would figure would have already had a check mark in the Admin panel for by now.

I agree with you completely - embeding videos is nothing new these days and video based web sites that do not use this method of "adding" videos are way, way behind... an example - "phpmelody" - check the script - it can add embeded videos from up to 20 different websites complete with Thumbs, Title, Description, Tags, and can even check availability, geolocation for the videos, etc, etc. Embeding videos is at least 2 years old so this is hardly new technology.

The option for members to upload or embed videos is an absolute MUST HAVE and I am also surprised that Boonex are not using this.

I agree 200% to this as well :)

Is there an update somewhere on this? This seems to be the most recent forum discussion on this, and I consider this to be a potential deal breaker for a lot of would-be members of a site using Dolphin for the community section.

I will keep looking, but I am a bit surprised more attention is not being paid to this issue.

Dolphin uses tiny mce to insert everything to the site and Rayz has a nice little plugin for it that does what you want.

I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com

Thanks Mrpowless,

I'm not very familiar with Rayz yet.  Could you possibly direct me to the plugin you are describing?  Also, do I need anything else in order to install this plugin?

Thanks again!

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
