Upgrade problems!

Ive ran into several issues some ive been able to resolve some i havent one such issue is

Error Producing Security Image when creating a group...Ive tried everything suggested, file permissions are set right , gd library on and it the fonts are set correctly....ive done everything but cant seem to correct this..im even willing to just eliminate it if i could theres no reason to have a security code to create a group..

issue two my chat will not get past loading...ive done everything that was suggested had someone else look at it aswell and still no chat....ive decided to use a different chat...(was going to anyway) so chat isnt a big issue..

also i couldnt recompile languages in the forum...i did everything recommended...i finally just reverted back to the old file i had..and wala that works...not sure if that will mess anything else up tho....

any suggestions are appreciated

Are we talking D7 so you reverted back to D6.1.6?

If D7, then it is in Alpha and NOT a production model. Meaning Bugs and Uncompleted Functionailty.

i went from 6.1.4-6.1.5-6.1.6

Well I checked my D6.1.4 -> D6.1.6 and I don't have any of those problems...

Chat is probally due to an old RAY License issue. Check you MyLicense in UNITY and remove any old Ray Licensing opting for the single Dolphin license. That was a big jump between D6.1.4 -> D6.1.6 Update that in Admin Dashboard -> Advanced Settings

On the security Image, check your JoinForm. If it shows from there then it should show in Groups.

Compiling for Forums is done through the Admin Dashboard -> Plugins -> select the little 'en' link. After you get the compiled succesfully refresh the Browser window to display changes.

I dont use it on the join form....security pic....its just in the groups..any advice on how to remove it

and i did that step but i just reverted back to the old files..it works fine now...

Ok where exactly in the admin settings..ive checked under settings and advanced setting
