Since upgrading to 7.1.1 yesterday, I'm getting the following top error report every time a user attempts to update their record or when I access the World Map Module:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/gcktorg1/public_html/community/modules/boonex/world_map/classes/BxWmapModule.php:1) in /home/gcktorg1/public_html/community/inc/admin_design.inc.php on line 47

Any solutions?

Can't reproduce the problem and can't see what can be wrong on the lines in code where the error occured.

Most probably you have modified modules/boonex/world_map/classes/BxWmapModule.php file, try to reupload this file from the original package.

Ah, found the issue. In the 7.1.1 patched BxWmapModule, there were some erroneous characters before the <?php. Deleting those and re-uploading, did the trick. Thanks

Wrote to Deano but now starting to think it is not his mod??

If I un-install Deanos Facebook connect then I only get this error:

I even downloaded the 7.1.1 files and re-uploaded the world maps and still get this..

this has nothing todo with deano´s mod, it is a issue from d7.1.1 so we have to wait till it is fixed

Nope it doesn't Just un-installed the world maps and all gone.. Have deanos installed back and still no errors.. So won't have it until fixed.. Thanks..

I've checked BxWmapModule.php file in the patch and in full version package - there is no any characters in the beginning of file before <?php string.

Maybe it is damaged on your side by some editor or file transfer program ?

Also I made a note about this in upgrade instruction.

I am also getting this error when I downloaded new and not a upgrade.

Download modules/boonex/world_map/classes/BxWmapModule.php file, edit it by removing any unusual characters or lines in the beginning of the file just before <?php, or change encoding from UTF8 with BOM to UTF8 without BOM (if editor has this feature), upload back to the server.

I am sure I am not the only one here when it comes to these instructions as I see others saying the same thing which is they can't follow what is being said here.  perhaps you might give an English version or a version that is not wrapped in a riddle to be able to fix this issue?  Maybe it again is just that I am not a programmer but the above points me where?  In my world not to anything that I have any interest in learning.  I looked up the difference between the two and it is about encoding but still doesn't fix the issue!  It would help greatly if you don't assume what is known.  IOW line 101 change this to this and you are done and or as I thought was to just copy the corrected file to the old file and you are fixed!  IOW I have no idea after 30 min what and how to fix this!  Please advise without the above reference...

You could take your own advise and not use abbreviations you think all of us are going to understand.

What version of dolphin are you running? I can easily attach one here that has been corrected. Saving in UTF8 format without a BOM is a option in many editors. I guess yours does not have that option. Mine does. I use Editplus http://www.editplus.com/ many others here use Notepad++ which also has that option. http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

I really do not see how AlexT could have explained it any better. What he said is in English and i cannot find another way to describe it either.

Thank you for the advise but it never says that anywhere about saving it in that type of language.  I use notepad++ and it would have been much easier to just say that.  I am using 7.1.1 of Dolphin which should be quite obvious as that is where the issue started!  is it not?   Ha Ha

Attached is a dolphin 7.1.1 version of /modules/boonex/world_map/classes/BxWmapModule.php save as UTF8 without the BOM

OK I changed the file to one downloaded and I get the same error is there something that has to be changed in the design.inc.php on line 101 which has this:

/inc/design.inc.php on line 101              header( 'Content-type: text/html; charset=utf-8' );

AND yes I did delete the cache...

No and i don't get it either. Should have been fine.

Also now my map feature in my real estate mod is just spinning GRRRRR

Quick Fix

Just replace /modules/boonex/world_map/classes/BxWmapModule.php with the original remove BxWmapModule.php

first install the World Map in admin panel then remove BxWmapModule.php and then reupload the original one from the 7.1.1 file
