Upgrade Dolphin in softaculous?

Can I upgrade Dolphin in softaculous?(From Dolphin 7.1.4 to 7.2.0)

If it does not, whether it can upgrade in less "From Dolphin 7.1.6 to 7.2.0.B1" in "Upgrade Instructions and Upgrade Packs".

Thank you for help.

There is no upgrade patch yet for 7.2, They are working on it for the moment.

You would upgrade manually and you can go ahead and upgrade from 7.1.4  to 7.1.5 to 7.1.6.  Please note that the upgrade process can possibly overwrite any core file changes that you have done; some third party modules require changes to core files.  The first step to upgrading is to do a review of third party modules to see if they change any core files that are in the upgrade patch.  If so, then you can reapply these changes after you upgrade.

As for the upgrade to 7.2, you will have to wait for the upgrade patch to be release from Boonex.

Another thing I recommend is that one first apply the upgrades to a clone of their site so they can test if the upgrade breaks anything on their site.  I understand that some don't have the means or knowledge about cloning a site.  One thing you should always do when upgrading is to first back up the site files and database; this will allow one to easily recover from a bad upgrade.  Furthermore, follow the upgrade instructions to the letter.  One thing that gets some when doing upgrades is they forget to remove the upgrade directory/folder after they run the upgrade and that is important; leaving an old upgrade directory in place between upgrade patches can cause problems.

Also search here for softaculos.. It's known for causing problems. Manual is a much safer option.

Some hosts don't have dolphin available in softaculous because of the problems it can cause but a good host team like those at Zarconia will assisst you with the upgrade from 7.1.6 to 7.2 as soon nas the patch is available,

Imho better to be patient and wait for the working patch than attempt anything you are not fully up to speed with and cock it up.
