Yep, same happened to me... I presume you're also using a template. Fear not, a forum search will reveal all. I was up and running again in about 3mins. |
Could you kindly point me in that direction.........thank you and yes I am using a template........... Csampson |
Can you be a little more specific as I have done numerous searches............... Csampson |

NOTE: Forum template was restructured, so if you have custom template, then you maybe need to ask for update from the template author.

What if I am getting the same message for the UNI template and all cache cleared and temp files............. Csampson |
I would have to say some of the files in the modules/boonex/forum folder did not get replaced with the new ones.
So i would try reuploading those files. And switch to the UNI template as it must be working and compiled first before custom templates.
None of my templates have been tested with 7.0.8 yet and it will be a few days before i get to them. The black template should be fine, but due to the design i am sure my round box templates will not work on 7.0.8

I can offer this additional solution. My Forum disappeared completely, UNI and custom template. The UNI problem occurred because I hadn't reset my site back to the UNI template before upgrade, and as a result didn't compile UNI first. Doing so brought UNI back. However, my custom template was still gone.
How to fix this came to me after reading Zarcon's post and modifying his solution. I didn't want to lose my template's css. In comparing the xls for the new UNI template and my old custom template, I realized there were 41 files now vs the original 37. So, I uploaded only the new UNI xls into my template's xls folder, rewriting everything (making sure I had a copy of it saved in case this didn't work). Did it in both the regular and _en templates. The result is my beautiful forum exactly as before.
Hope others find this a useful method while they wait for updates from template developers. No guarantees, but it worked for me.
