Updating Site Files and Copyright Name in Footer

Hi all,

Just installed a fresh version of Dolphin 6.1.2 and for the most part it's doing okay.  My question is how to update the linked files, such as news, contact us, FAQ, privacy and terms.  I found the files under the www folder, but the text I need to change are not in the files, only the code is available when I open the .php file.

Where exactly do I find the files to update them, so we can pull out all the Dolphin text.

Second question is like the first... where do we go to change the copyright info at the bottom of the page.  It currently reads Copyright Your Site.  I need Your Site to read ClubZooey.com

Thank you all very much.

Admin>Settings>Langauges settings, search for "your company" change & save.

The Powered by needs a Adfree licence number to be removed.

As handsconnect said:

You can't change the powered by boonex without a license, but you can change the copyright your company.

Admin panel, settings, language settings.
--Search for strings = copyright

Edit the key:
_copyright

Copyright © {0} Yoursite.com.

Update/change yoursite.com to whatever you want.

You can do the same if you want to change FAQ to say FACTS.
Just search and edit the language key.

Many things can be changed in dolphin by simple edit the language string.

If you want to remove FAQ from the top or bottom
then as dosdawg said you can remove them from _header.html and _footer.html in your tmpl_uni directory if you are using default.

like:
__BMI_Links__
__BMI_News__
__BMI_ContactUs__
__BMI_About__
__BMI_Privacy__
__BMI_Termsofuse__
__BMI_FAQ__
__BMI_Feedback__
__BMI_Aff__
__BMI_Invitefriend__
__BMI_Bookmark__
and I want to remove faq then:
__BMI_Links__
__BMI_News__
__BMI_ContactUs__
__BMI_About__
__BMI_Privacy__
__BMI_Termsofuse__
__BMI_Feedback__
__BMI_Aff__
__BMI_Invitefriend__
__BMI_Bookmark__

You can't remove the boonex stuff from this file if you do your dolphin won't work.

When I try to change "your company name" within Language Settings, I do not get a SAVE Button.  I am able to SAVE other items, like Privacy, etc., but this one does not allow me.  I am using 6.4.1 Free version.

Don't forget to recompile your default language.

I'm assuming that anything that says "system" in the language settings CAN NOT BE REMOVE right?

It means it's not a language key from a module.  You shouldn't be removing default keys, but added ones can be removed.

Edit: Also, this is off-topic and one hell of a grave dig.

Oh ok, so system files shouldn't be compromised.  That's what I figured.  This doesn't look off topic actually it isn't.  It's no big deal.  It's only a grave digger if you are actually digging for this question.
