Unlimited license: some clarifications

Hi all,

I am willing to upgrade my subscription to Unlimited (I'm on a Free one now) and have some concerns:

1. Will the Unlimited license get rid of ANY boonex banner/link/logo or whatsoever from my website?

2. Is the process of getting rid of the above tedious and difficult?  I was reading I should edit all the .css files!?!?!

3. Can I simply upgrade my network without having to re-install the software and then losing my settings and members?

Thanks,

Dan

1.  The license will get rid of the banners.

2.  After Purchasing your new license go into  your admin panel & delete the old one.  Then go into your account here on unity and go to your licenses and delete that domain from the old licenses.

3.  Enter the new license number into your Admin Panel after you log out and back into it.

4.  Do NOT edit any CSS files or anything else to get rid of the banners, this will throw an error if you edit the wrong thing, just let the automated system do it on it's own.

Make sure to clear all your cache too. Some times it does work right if you don't the cache

If you have any trouble clearing your caches in the admin panel, log into your website's files via FTP and delete everything except .htaccess inside the following directories:

/cache

/cache_public

/tmp

If you have any trouble clearing your caches in the admin panel, log into your website's files via FTP and delete everything except .htaccess inside the following directories:

/cache

/cache_public

/tmp

and a faster solution would be if you are able to login to SSH

cd /to/your/dolphin/root/account

rm -rf cache/*

rm -rf cache_public/*

this will not remove the .htaccess, but will clear the cache, much faster than from cPanel or FTP

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
