Unity Rules Reiteration

I have found discussions lately regarding people using the term 'X-Mas' when referring to the upcoming holiday. I want to make sure that everyone is aware that  Defamation, Intolerance, and Vilification is not allowed here at Unity.

Everyone has the right to refer to their holidays as they wish, regardless of your opinions. This does not mean that you can create posts here at Unity specifically to denouncing or criticizing another persons beliefs and/or religious views. Discussion that revolve around  race, culture, beliefs, height, weight, hair colour, IQ, gender, physical or mental conditions,  sexual preference / orientation, religion, age, etc is completely unacceptable (as stated in the rules) and will be removed.

Please keep your discussions relevant around BoonEx/Unity/Dolphin. If you see a post regarding the topics stated above that contains verbiage you do not agree with based on your personal opinion, its best practice to not comment at all and put yourself at risk of Unity violations.

With that said, if you feel that you have been personally attacked based on the topics mentioned here, please contact a moderator for review. Note: Using the word 'x-mas' is not a personal attack.

The posts being referred to included personal attacks based on religious beliefs (which were edited away), so a harsh warning was needed.  In the end it was ridiculous that something to had to be done, but people couldn't control themselves.

Even moderators are not above the rules.  The moderator who didn't help has been severely warned.  He knows who he is.
