Unconfirmed Fans box bug

I think i found another bug.  Please confirm this.

Picture 1: I (Ryan) create a new group and invite Patrick.

Picture 2: I go back to my group page and i don't see Patrick in the Unconfirmed fans block.

Picture 3: Patrick joins the group and I see him in the Fans block.

My question is what does Unconfirmed fans block do really?  :-/

can anyone confirm this?

Join to the group can be by confirmation only (this option is available during adding new group).

If join to the group is by manual confirmation by group admin(s), then every user who press on join button goes to un

confirmed fans block, then admin need to check every user and allow them to join the group.

If join to the group is open for all, then this box will be always empty.
