Unable to Import Edited Lang File

so I exported the original Eng language file and edited/translated a few lines, then imported it back using the web interface under Lang Setting in Admin Control Panel and it worked.

Then I edited the same file, this time I edited/translated the whole file with about 2500 lines using NotePad ++ and DreamWeaver with UTF-8 coding. but when I tried to import that file back to Dolphin I jut got a blank page instead of the confirmation msg like the first time I did, and nothing was imported.

Please let me know if you have special method to import edited/tranlated lang file back to Dolphin.

Thank you

I've never done this.

Are you sure you have no "extra" space or added lines?

so the system will not import the file if there's error on it?

Now I'm not sure on that, like I said, never tried this.

Now it's later in the day you may get a better response from other members that are coming to Boonex now...

good luck, I'm sure the answer will be soon.

[edit] I have a site in Germany I have worked with the webmaster and he did a complete translate of language files to German the way your talking about. Next time I chat with him I can ask.

This member has been here years and never posted a single post here so no need to search for his solution..
