Ultimate Sites Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Ultimate Sites mod.

When a member adds their site and it is displayed in the block (I have it on home (index) page). The link displayed in the snippet listing does not work. It shows as a link, but when one clicks on it, says 'The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded".

When adding a site the Title at times gives error, but error is always same. One of the instructions on the title box should be the length of it. One can sit there a while baffled at what the error is trying to indicate. If the title is too long then it will give you an error. 

Can you perhaps provide this as one of the possibilities in the error code please, so members are not confused.

Could this mod be adjusted to have the "Claim this listing" option just like the biz module please?

 I will consider this in future updates.

Please add a block to the site-homepage for Featured Sites... along with an admin setting for how many to display.  

Please add an admin control for how many Recently Added Sites to display on the site-homepage (currently set to 3).

Please add a block for Sites in the site-homepage Site Stats.

 Exactly what data would be displayed in this block ?

 Display the number of sites, for example I currently have 55 sites listed so it would display "55 sites"... similar to "73 photos" and "9 groups", etc.  NOTE that I'm talking about the Site Stats block on the homepage... that lists the number of ads, files, photos, videos, ... 
I'm using Site Stats Manager... which shows each item in the Site Stats block as an "Item"... so maybe I should have been asking for you to add an 'Item" to the Site Stats block. 

 There is already a site stats entry.

I see it on your demo site but not on my site.  I also don't see "Show additional info section" or "Show contact details section" options in my Admin section.  I'm wondering if my attempt to install it was incomplete.

 If those options are missing, apply patch version_2.0.1.

I still don't see "sites" listed in Site Stats. 

 I fixed the missing "sites" issue using Deano's Site Stat Manager to create any missing items.

Added numerous options in the admin settings for the mod to control number of items displayed in various blocks.

For the next version update, please add a "Default sites block tab on homepage:"  to allow a choice of [ features, recent, top, popular ].  Thank you!

Where do I change so that contact details are empty?

Is it possible to add something so that Contact details stays empty?

Today I have to choose a country resulting in the below picture.

Modification of Country list so the Country select box is empty by default.

I thought admin had the ability to display the number of sites on the Home Page (Index), like the other Mods (such as Business). Am I mistaken? Is 3 the default value?

 In the Admin settings for the mod, there is an option for this ... "Number of sites to show on homepage".

 I thought so Modzzz, but now I do not see it. The mod looks and feels like the original Dolphin Mod and not at like yours. In the admin section I have very limited selections and certainly not that one. So I wonder what happened.

 You broke the site by re-running the installation sql file. I have logged in and fixed it.

I upgraded to 2.0.3 using the 26th January version and now see see that there is a new update also with 2.0.3

"Updated: 03.02.2013"

Do I need to update the version released a week ago or is it the same version?

After some install/uninstall issues with UltimateSites I've found myself in the below hell hole (see pic) when trying to install 2.0.4 and need help out.

This module is working perfectly on my 7.1 site - even the thumbs.  Thank you!

I am trying to modify it a bit to fit in with what I am going to use the Ultimate Sites mod for - listing of animal welfare sites.  I would like to change the descriptions on the input boxes, such as change the word "Targeted Audience" to "Wish List"   etc.   I have already changed the blocks in the Language editor.  

My question is ... what pages in the template folder do I edit to change the wording?

Thank you again... I have lots more modules to pick up from you to finish the site... but one step at a time.. lots of work ahead for a one-person show lol

One more thing... is there a way to put in a box for City and Zip code in the contact details area?  Thank you

How can I fix the overrun from the Category view?  Not sure which page or css entry to edit to fix this...

Ok.. disregard the first two questions... I figured them out going into the class templates.

But I still have a Chrome issue with the thumbnails lining up with the paragraphs in Browse and Category view... if you have any insight would be much appreciated.  Lovin the module!  Thank you

 Please send me a screenshot of this lining up issue. I do not see it when I view in Chrome.

 It only seems to do it when viewing All Sites   and Browse Categories - just in my chrome.  

 I just bought the Hypernova template and the issue is fixed, so I guess it was something in the default template and my particular chrome browser... everything working great now... thank you again for a great mod!

Categories functionality has been re-worked.

This module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

I tried doing the upgrade for the Ultimate Sites on 7.2 and I am getting this error when running the sqlupdate - I ended up having to uninstall the module as it caused the site to just show the database query error message.

@NYStar - You should not be running the sqlupdate.php, the update instructions are in the upgrade folder. PM me with your site details if you still have issues installing.
