I am not seeing any listings when clicked on categories though there are listings.

This is absolutely not true. I am on this site every week addressing issues reported with my modules (except last week when my country was ravaged by a hurricane). The issue with you is that you want same day resolution to everything you report and I have already told you that is not possible :)

That page is no longer used by the module since the Categories system was changed. Which link did you click on to get that page ?

An update is made to the file below to fix an issue reported above where only one item is showing on sub-categories page :

Hi Modzzz,

I am interesting in buying and installing your Business Listings mod, then I've found this Ultimate Sites mod. After a closer look, it seems to me that these two mods are almost the same mod, they work almost the same way. Can you tell me the difference between them? Is it really necessary to have the Ultimate Sites mod on the site when having the Business Listings mod? I don't want to have two mods doing the same thing.

@DigitZup - The mods are completely different. Ultimate Sites module allows you to add websites of interest. Business Listing module allows you to post information about Businesses (which may or may not have a website). You can Review a Business, post Events for a Business, Claim a Business and many more functionality not available for Ultimate Sites.

Hi Modzzz - After udating to Dolphin 7.3.3, the Home page of the Sites module has disappeared. It either comes up blank or throws a 500 error. All the other versions of the page seem OK but this one, such as Featured, All, etc.

So this is the URL of the blank Home page - http://autismanimated.com/dolph/m/sites/home/

Could you please help me fix this, as it affects navigation, and the Sites area is popular?

@CHOPS - You can fix the issue by re-uploading the module files. You have overwritten them with the update.

Ok Modzzz m- I've downloaded the latest version of the Ultimate Sites module and I'm reading the "readme" for installing to a site that already has this module (which mine does) -

FROM YOUR README TEXT:

============================== [BEGIN] INSTALL - IF SITES MODULE IS INSTALLED ALREADY ======================
 
a) Upload the "modules" folder to your dolphin root.
 
b) Upload sqlupdate.php from the "Site_files" folder to your dolphin root and run http://www.yoursite.com/sqlupdate.php

c) Login to your Admin Panel, go to Tools=>Modules and under "Installed Modules" select "Ultimate Sites" then scroll down and click "Recompile language(s)".
 
d) Login to your Admin Panel and clean cache.

Confusing -

a) won't this overwrite the contents of the Module folder, which has folders for other modules in it? Or do you want me to just copy the contents of the Sites folder into my existing folder on my system?

b) I remember this gave us trouble earlier when looking for Categories - you've probably fixed that, right?

c) My Admin Panel has Tools and Modules, not Modules under Tools, and no Installed Modules tab. So now what?

If you can send me some better instructions, I'd be grateful. I have many websites in this section and I'd rather not screw it up.

@CHOPS - I have modified the readme.txt and re-uploaded the module.

hi modzzz, i had same issue when i upgraded to 7.3.3 and glad someone already started thread and you responded as seems like when i ask, you don't respond. Glad others get responded so wait for your response when someone will ask you same question for rss module of yours

Hi Modzzz - Looks like this module has another problem - Search. A search run from the search bar comes up empty, even if the site is listed. However, if I use the "Add" icon, the site I'm looking for is presented right away. It appears that the results are intermittent, sometimes working, sometimes not.

Provide an example of a search term that is coming up empty. I just checked your site and could not replicate any problem.

I just tried "Pensacola" -

and "Manuel Casanova"

and "Autism Works Now"

No results returned.

Would you want to try these? I did this test without being  logged in. Should that matter?

I just updated our site to Dolphin 7.3.5 and in the process, it looks like we broke the Ultimate Sites module. I'm downloading the mod now and will try to re-install the patch. I hope I am on the right track, or maybe there is something you need to do for it to work with this version. I guess we'll see.

Can you let me know ASAP if this is what you would have me do?

Dolphin 7.4 - The following file is updated:

modules/boonex/sites/classes/BxSitesFormEdit.php

When i edit a "site entry" then i have the old one and the new one. So the edit site is saved as a new site with a different url. The same url + same date values.

I had to delete the second url, because people are looking into this section right now.

This is a problem specific to your site due to custom work done on it which impacts this module functionality. If you check the demo or any other site that uses this module you will not see such issue. You can provide FTP access and I will investigate.

When I saw your reply to MRTN, I was hopeful you had something for me, so I replied by email. Is there anything you can do to help me understand why some sites cannot be added to the Ultimate Sites module? I'm still in Dolphin 7.3.5 and will most likely stay at this version for the foreseeable future. Can I please get some help here?

Sorry, there is not much help I can offer you with that. If you check demo.boonex.com , you will notice the same issue. I am assuming those sites have some server configuration that prevents their contents from being fetched with the PHP file_get_contents function.

Adding of a new site does not work since the last changes you made. Just tried to add a new site but the interface wont show up. Please see attached image.

 That issue is resolved.
