When I view "Point Leaders" page, My main admin account user shows multiple times with different point amounts. How do I consolidate them or remove them altogether?

When I view another members profile or make a comment in their profile, the points is not getting awarded.

Good afternoon. With the auto membership activated, when a user reaches the points needed to move up a level,

the progress bar shows the change good but not the other options.

@buensumiso - I have fixed that issue already in patch 2.1.8 which will be released sometime this week or next week. I am making other updates before releasing the patch.

Feature Request:  Allow admin to set minimum number of points "locked" from being withdrawn from account when points are used to pay for membership. Members would not be allowed to use points until their account balance exceeds the amount required for their membership level.

I want to have points reduced from the member when he send a mail or use simple messenger is this possible and what I need to do cos I use messenger and added -5

It is not possible with current design of the module. Points was designed strictly as a rewarding system for members, not as a method of earning for the site. I have another module called Credits that deals with earnings.

The Shoutbox and Simple Messenger do not trigger any alerts when entries are posted. I have made Boonex aware of this so they can provide a resolution. See my post in the Bugs and Issues forum.

Have you had the time or looked into fixing the points integration with your other modules?

Can we upgrade the module patches without upgrading Dolphin 7.1.6 to Dolphin 7.2.0?

Unfortunately, waiting for other modules to be 7.2.0 compatible means our Dolphin upgrade path has stalled, while Dolphin itself marches on to 7.3.0.

Very frustrating - Upgrading Dolphin is a Pain.

When someone invites other members they get points right?

How will this work?

This is possible if you have my Referrals module installed also. If it is integrated with Points, then a member gains points when someone they referred has joined the site.

This wasn't answered, so I'll ask again.

Can we do the Ultimate Points - With Levels patches (versions 2.1.6, 2.17 and 2.1.8) while still on Dolphin 7.1.6 or are they only for Dolphin 7.2.0?

@TravelNotes - I answered the same question you asked in another support thread so didn't bother to repeat the answer here. Patches are meant for a specific version of Dolphin and therefore must be applied to that version. In the readme.txt, I specify the version number of Dolphin that the patch is meant for but I will also include that information in the forum announcement going forward.

The only reason I asked 'again here' is that some modules you have patches in Dolphin Version folders 7.1x and 7.2.

In Points, the patches aren't in Dolphin version specific folders; so I was a little confused.

@TravelNotes - Patches must be applied and they must be done in sequential order. To relieve some of your pain from now onwards, subscribe to the support forums for the modules you have bought and apply the patches as they are released.

I am subscribed to the forums of all module I purchase.

I asked about patches, upgrades and sequence in many of the threads (as you know). Some questions went unanswered.

I queried if I should upgrade Dolphin before patches/upgrades, and module upgrades before patches in the new folder; or if module ugrade trumped patches.

Alas, Dolphin and module upgrades move at a different pace; and although you are doing a good job with most of your modules, other devlopers can hold us back on a full Dolphin upgrade;so everything has to wait.

The problem now is going to be adding the point tables back in for your other modules that I have: Business Listings, Locations, Lodging, Premium Groups, and Restaurants.

 Each of these mods have a sqlpoints.php file which will quickly create the integration with Points.

The price of this module is reduced.

I've noted something strange.

Points only get credited to Standard memberships but not to another level.

Any ideas?

Found it.

Need to select 'point earn points' in Membership Levels again; after the upgrade/uninstall/install.

Sometimes I feel I'm going around in circles.

I do not think the different levels are working right. If I mark not active for Bouncer then when I look at freshman is marked not active even though I did not check update all levels?

I took the site admin and made them Bouncers so that way they do not get a lot of points because they really do not need points and they will always be the highest points leaders then.  But this does not seem to work..

@1265116616 - All my active modules are compatible with the latest Dolphin version. I may have overlooked updating the readme.txt for some.

I am having the same issue.  I counted "admin" 40 times in the listing.  Could  you please let me know how to fix that?  Thanks!

----I have set Auto-Membership to "gain" mode. This means that members will move to another membership level once they have attained sufficient points. You can assign the amount of points needed to attain a particular level.

But the member with enough points can not move to another another membership.
