UPLOADING HEADER & ADDING NEW SOCIAL LINKS PROBLEM

Hello, I have a designer trying to upload a website Header & Social Links he created on our website, but he is having trouble. He says that he can get everything working OFFLINE, but once he uploads the modified files onto the server, the whole thing just turns into a mess (website gets broken up).

Is this something that someone can explain in steps or easily correct??

yes, your designer needs to know how to design a template for dolphin. its not standard, and there are tutorials in the docs directory when you unpack Dolphin 7.0.6. have your designer take a gander there. also need to make sure he/she understands the complexity of dolphin, and the requirement to clear the cache. by default the templating system is cached, so if he/she is loading a new template, and things are going all to hello and back, then its probably a caching issue. also, read the document on creating and modifying templates, this should give your designer some insight on what needs to be done.
