UNA Upgrade - Ignore Files Not Part Of Package

I ran into an issue upgrading UNA through the Studio Dashboard.  There was a file that was not a part of the UNA package but the upgrade script responded it could not upgrade because there was a file that had been modified.  How does the upgrade script work detecting files?  Can it ignore files that are not part of the UNA package?

I have attempted the upgrade and i'm unsuccessful. It hangs at the pop up message "The upgrade will begin in less then a minute." I had the domain changed and yes i changed the domain at UNA site, as well as the keys. Can i get some help?

It's possible to ignore minor changes, just enable the following setting:

Studio > Settings > Site Settings > Force site and module auto-update, even if some files were modified

Also asked over at una.io.  I have used internet searches as well as on una and boonex.  I downloaded the patch but it doesn't look like the Boonex upgrade patches.  There is a file in the root of the patch that appears to be a cron job which does not make much sense.  No instructions anywhere that I can find.  You would think inside of the upgrade patch might be some instructions, or some instructions on the una.io site.

You don't need to download the patch manually, it's automatic updates, all you need is to make sure that cron jobs is setup properly then click upgrade button in Studio > Dashboard

First, why do you have a upgrade patch available for download on una.io if one can not do a manual upgrade?  Secondly, automatic upgrades are not working.  If one can not do a manual upgrade with UNA, then that is another reason why I will never use it and if that crap is incorporated into Dolphin then I will stop using and promoting Dolphin.

1. Because upgrade script need to download it from somewhere

2. Did you make sure that cron is working ? Did you enable "Force site and module auto-update" option ? is there any errors during upgrade ? you can also check if there is upgrade.log in /logs/ folder with any additional information.

Thank you for trying UNA and providing the feedback, if it would be some more details about the problems it would be great!

We did all that, enabled everything, same results. Also please confirm that if enabling auto upgrade and forcing it to upload, that it does not change customized layout or re-arrange site blocks etc... Cause if it does then owners need to know this so they can disable that feature cause it can damage a lot of sites and cause a huge problem.

Yes they are working, as for the upgrade i believe GG was able to perform the upgrade with the auto upgrade option. If you log in you can see that i am using the latest version.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
