Tutorial Mod

There use to be a tutorial mod on boonex that allowed the admin to create tutorials of how things worked on your website. Does anyone have any ideal as to what happend to this mod? Modzzz has a tutorial mod on here, but its not what I am talking about. Can someone help?

get hold of a decent screen capture software. record the videos of how to do cirtain things. Then create a link on the main menu or member menu "How to" and add the tutorials as sub menus. Get them to open as small pop-up windows that show the video....

I use a screen capture program called smrecorder. I am happy with it. Of course you will need a good noise deaden mic, especially if you have a house like mine. Then you can upload to Youtube and then download or embed to your site. If you plan on setting up a forum, you can embed the videos right into the posts. Then put a link in the Help sections to the forum of tutorials easily by just linking the word Tutorials to the Forum. GL
