Turning off Blogs

I wish to turn offthe blog feature, remove menu links etc. related to it. Is there an option in the sware to do this (I can't find it) or do I have to edit the code to achieve this?

Have you used the navigation menu builder yet?  You just drag it away from the active area at the top and presto, bingo - it is gone!

Just remove it from the active area in the navigation menu builder.

Thanks guys... I was looking for a difficult way when a simple drag and drop interface was right there. I'll go press the rest of the buttons now...

Hey Rob, he could also go in and delete all the blog.php & blog.css files.  That is if he really wants to do more than drag and drop.  But then he'll also have to remove the items from Navigation Menu Builder, Check his Page Builder for the Blog RSS Feeds on Profile and the My Account Page.  It's so much more fun to watch the newbies play in the DB Cache files to adjust stuff than for them to learn how to use the menu.
