 Hi all, i am trying to create a block in account page.. but in the block i want to have images with their respective link for each one and i want those images to rotate every time the user go back to their account page or when they do a refresh.. (almost like the banners thing) but of course this block is located it on every account page.. Any help or tips? |
An advertising server works great for this kind of thing- in fact that is more or less what they are designed for. They are basically a super-duper banner rotater. I use openads - the learning curve is a bit steep, but it is worth it. Rob |

Yes, I'm pretty sure it can - the code you will put there is just html or javascript. I have tried it in a new column, and it works fine. I assume it would work in a block as well. Rob |
Just FYI - for anyone who doesn't know. Google has recently released a free "ad manager" that can be used for adsense, but also for non-Google ads and products. I mentioned that I use Open Ads - the most common open source product for banner ad management, but it is a pretty daunting tool.
