Trouble with rotating imaging on splash block

I liked the rotating images on my splash page in the past and am having difficulty figuring out the code to write to have the images scroll like the used to.

I also somehow messed up the offset on my home page.  How do I re-center it? - http://test.heromatchmaker.com/

Figured out the code for the slideshow.  But I can't get the overlay to work.
