Translation insecurity

Ok  - so I have bought this license (only 90  days because I'm really cautious with online services) and applied it to the website. Everything went well and good. Here is where I give kudos for a brilliant product.

Now, I started translating the whole thing into Danish, but ran into some questions:

1) Is it OK to translate the part of the Boonex banner at the bottom of the screen? (If it was translated, it would attract more people to Boonex)

2) If people buy extra modules, do those module use the default language file too? or is it needed to translate each module?

3) If buy and then translate a 3rd party module that is sold here on the Boonex site, can I then sell the translation for that module? Or do I need a permission to do so?

1. It is perfectly all-right to do this, however, since you have a license, the bottom banner will not display.
2. Modules use their own language files, so yes, you will need to translate individual modules.
3. If the translation of a module was done by yourself, then there should be no issue with redistributing the translation, but only the translation. If you are unsure of this, and prefer sound clarification on the matter, you should contact the developer of the module.

1) But it is still in the language file. If a non-licensed user buy the translation, the user would then see a translated version of the Boonex banner. I was wondering if the software checked the amount of characters in order to avoid people tampering with it.

3) Yes ok. I like being on the safe side of things and it is always good sportsmanship to contact the creators before tampering with their work(unless they have already stated otherwise).

1. I have translated the bottom banner for numerous language translations, so no, it does not react in such a way. The script only checks to see if the bottom banner was rightfully removed (via paid license), and pays no attention to direct editing beyond that.
2. No problem.
