Tracing DB error

Ok, so this should be an easy one for experts -- I get an error when I try to view any categories page for a group. The error is "Database query error." Yeah, that's it. I would like to find the page that's generating that error. However, as I'm sure the experienced code monkeys know, I can't just look at the URL to find the php page. How can I find the source php web file when looking at a URL that ends with /groups/category/category-name-here ?

alot of text comes inside the error mail////to read it is quite easy...just look for spot that says " mysql error: you have a blah blah blah in balh blah" this tells you what files having problems with its query or connection

I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com

Thank you for the suggestions.

However, I don't know anything about that e-mail, where it is going, or how I could set that up. Is there another way to tell what page is making the error?

Aha, I found it in /inc/header.inc.php. Yes, that e-mail, once sent, showed me exactly what the problem was. Thanks again.
