I thought I would post this here and this is for way, way in the future and not for now. If you think it is worth it can someone create a ticket pleas? I do not normally create tickets, I tried to but I do not have the authority. Hence the post here. I think the mod is worth it.
Concurrent locking
Okay it does not happen very much in social networking as it is normally only one person editing their own records. But with collaborative editing in mind and for auditing purposes you may want to implement a time and date stamp of change, on all tables. User name as well might be nice. Just to future proof yourself. This will enable concurrent locking of records/rows in a database. I work as a programmer for a big software company and over saw this change a few years ago on all our tables/files. It makes a big difference.
