Thumbnail borders in 7.1.4

Hi, I'm having a problem with white borders around thumbnails in public photos . I've searched the forums but all the fixes I have found deal with older versions and don't seam to work with 7.1.4.. Looks like the style sheets changed a bit and I cant find where to change this. Anyone know where this is done now? Which file to modify?

If I had to take a guess, the photos are taken by someone with a so called "smartphone."   I have found that users of smartphones are too stupid to know to turn the bleeding camera sideways to take normal photos and videos.

Anyway, just make the white background of the thumbnail block black or transparent.  Turn off CSS caching if you have it turned on and then use "inspect element" with your browser or use the Firebug plugin to inspect the element to see what class in the template is controlling the background.

geek_girl, yes smartphones are a problem...so is bad cropping. Thank you for your input. Was beating my head on it but using firebug I was able to find the code and change it. No more annoying white border :) Never used firebug before so again thanks for turning me on to it.

The default Dolphin crop does have a problem; it especially shows up when you increase the sizes of the thumbnails; say when you are using profile photos instead of avatars.  I rewrote the routine a bit to correct the crop problem, it is so badly off that it would crop off the top of the members heads in their photos.  I mentioned this in the forums but I don't think Boonex cared.
