Thanks Alex,

I can see why that would be an issue if the directions for the upgrade where followed and the flash/modules/video/files/get_mobile.php file was removed as directed. I had actually removed it, but then copied it back when apache error log indicated the file was not found.

I made the changes to the path in the BxDolXMLRPCMedia.php file so it would use the 'new' get_mobile.php file, but I still have the same issue with the iphone.

I thought it might be an encoder setting issue and tried a few different ffmpeg options, but no luck so far. I even updated my ffmpeg install.

The mobile video is encoded, and is playable with VLC, but for some reason my iphone dosen't like it.

Please make sure that you are using the latest iPhone app - "oo 1.2", it was some fixes with video/mp3 playing.

Also what is your iPhone OS version ? videos are playing using different ways in iOS 3 and iOS 4

Try to turn on/off this option:

Dolphin admin panel -> Modules -> Flash Apps -> Comments Video Player/Video Player -> Settings -> Use h264 Codec

you need to add new video after changing this option

Thank you for working on this Alex.

I have two iPhones I have been testing with.

The first is a 3GS running iOS 3.1.3

The second is a 3G running iOS 3.1.2.

According to the oo app about page, the version is 1.1  but both show 1.2 as installed in the app store. (both phones)

I have an old video on one of the profiles that will play on the iphone, but none of the new ones work.

I did run a test without h264 encoding, and had the same issue but I can try again.  It just takes a long time to upload test videos, wait for the encode, then test on the phones...
