Howdy folks,

I typed in my site on google and it came up with the stuff below, now that's not my site description I put. It is pulling this off from one of the articles. How can I make it look like Boonex?

Are you submitting a site map?

Google is just trying to be 'smart' with your site content. It will take some time before it will create the links like you see for boonex. It took at least a month after I started submitting my site map before it showed up like that.

Thanks for the tip Shawn. No I wasn't submitting a site map. My site is down at the moment as I am shifting hosting but as soon as I am up. I will get it done. Thanks again.

I have these search results like Boonex also across 3 different sites

Once Big G does index your site/s like this you can use Webmasters Tools to control which links you prefer to keep and which to remove from results.

Does take a while for Google to index sites in such ways and when you make the request to denote links etc this can also take a while ...

I also recommend submitting a sitemap to Webmasters Tools asap!

There are several ways to make that what you want, I do it with a simple <h1> in the _header.html. Put's my site on top and shows what I want..

 I just found this.. and have had some PM's about how to do this in a bit more detail so here it is.

If your using the default template, open the folder 

/templates/base/_header.html

your going to add a couple lines. Please tailor to your needs of course.

The "style" is to make the text white for my black background, change to what you want.

SEO has become kind of strange..  Recently I shared one of my sites groups on google plus in a post.  The group is for pennsylvania deer hunters.  Now if you search google for "deer" my google plus post comes up around number 5.  Deer is a pretty general and competitive keyword.  So it should help get me traffic in a roundabout way, but why would that post show before my group that I actually linked to?

actually..  now it's nowhere to be found.  google must have penalized me for complaining on here lol

Now it's back at #5 for "deer" lol.  I checked with google keyword tool and "deer" has 5,000,000 local monthly searches which is great but..  I don't want 100k people adding my personal profile to their circles.  I want them to see my sites group lol.  Ah well
