The Boonex Store Module

Is there a way to add and remove categories?

Easily thankfully. Navigate in administration to settings --> category settings

I personally prefer Modzzz Premium Store module as it has some much needed improvements as well as sub-categories which I like a lot better than relying on one main category and randomly created tags.

Thanks. I was looking for more of a ecommerce type store that people can setup clothing shops or gaming items with shipping options and such. Any Ideas? 

I haven't set up boonex store for physical products but I've read forum discussions from others that have. It sounds like its awkward at best. Ironically I think modzzz should make a variant of his reward module. This is used for the admin to offer items in return for points or credits. But its a great module in that if its a physical item the user has to enter an address, and it has fulfillment controls and everything.

I've heard some use his premium store module for physical items but I'd let someone who's actually done that confirm it.
