Taking out the profile video icon in instant chat?

When the instant chat window is open I am looking to take out the video text link and the icon, so I should be left with the profile and music text links and icons.

Can anyone throw me a bone??

You can keep trying, but i have to warn you. Anything that requires changes to any one of the ray flash modules will most likely go unanswered.

So don't get your hopes up.

Faithful, I've been hunting on this one for you, and so far I'm not finding it.  I don't have a flash editor so I may or may not be able to find the answer beyond disabling AV Chat altogether.  If your site is not using Boards and you do not want Audio Video chat rooms and IM's then I'd suggest just disconnecting the RMS at this point, at least until someone can come up with a solution to this.  Not positive yet that will affect on the Boards and A/V Chat/Messengers, but it should work.  I've seen sites with no RMS running able to operate their chat rooms & messengers quite well, just no A/V on them.  Now, if you want the Audio, just not the Video, then this will be a lot harder.

Primarily because unlike the rest of dolphin which is written in PHP and all of the code is available to change at will, the ray modules are written in flash. Very little can be change via the config files, but removing or changing built in items usally requires that the code be changed. To do so would require you have 2 things. One is a copy of flash 9 or CS3 and the other is the ray modules source files which are not available. Boonex has not released the source for those.

So, not very many people here know very much about the ray modules. Thus not much help is available. When boonex finally releases the source then help with the flash stuff will easier to obtain.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
