Tags(?) for Profile Search

I've been looking around for an answer but can't find a clear one so here I am.  I think I'm supposed to be researching tags but mayber you can tell me.  Here's my dilema...

I have a user name that is "tri-city" .  If I do a search for "tri city" nothing comes up.  If I search "tricity" again nothing shows up.  

Is there a way I can add these search terms somewhere so the profile would show up in a search?

Ask and ye shall receive!!  After an hour of searching I place this post.  As soon as I place the post, I find the answer.  Added Tags to my "edit profile" and it worked like a charm!!
