Hi. Every time I login to Boonex, I visit the market to see whats new.
This is getting tedious. I'd much prefer to be notified of new releases ie. when a developer releases something new, get an email, when a developer releases an update to a module, get notified via email.
Is this possible?

Thanks TravelNotes. I've done that for the mods I've purchased and you're right, it's not always foolproof. I'm hoping for something better especially when it comes to new mods released. I go through email almost every day but I don't get a chance to login to Boonex as often.
Adding a "subscribe to market for new 7.3.0 modules" feature to the Boonex website would solve this for me.

Maybe at some point in the near future the Boonex Team will send out a newsletter with all the modules that have been updated (or verified) for D7.3.0, i.e. after the most active developers have had a chance to update or verify their modules. I can think of a few prolific developers that may need a couple of weeks to update their multitude of modules.
Someone mentioned, and I agree, it would help matters immensely if the Boonex Team added a system for notifying site owners whenever their installed 3rd party modules have been updated... with a one-click solution for updating changes to files and db. In comparison, I've been working with WordPress for the last year and truly appreciate how easy it is to update both the core software and the plugins.

Hi Paul. I've come from a Wordpress background (Joomla and Drupal before that), and IMHO Wordpress have figured out so many good ways to do things and make things easy for people. It's not perfect and there's the annoying things like skipping cron's, but to me it's a quality software platform that can be easily developed upon and updates, they just show up when they're ready to be applied and things typically just work.

This system already exists, unfortunately not many developers are using it. We will try to publish some more detailed instructions on how to use this in the nearest future.
