Hi All, including Boonex support. It is time to find out what kind of performance we can expect from Dolphin 6 or 7. I am at the planing stages of a business that needs 1000 concurrent users to start with and will grow to 100 of thousands of concurrent users. I am not talking video users, just that people will be logging in and may even talk to each other but mostly they will be logged in and using the site to get around and get information.
I know most if not all sites on here don't get much hits and if they have a few thousand registered users then great. So far Dolphin for everybody is more of a side hobby and that is it. Sure there are a few very few admins/owners here that are actually making money. The only ones making any some are the module sales people and BoonEx. This is what I know and I like to be told that I am wrong which is actually to my benefit.
Has anybody here done stress testing to see what kind of load can be handled on what type of machine and what configuration. What to do when we need to go beyond the hobby shop operation?
BoonEx, if you are reading this please get in contact with me and let me know if BoonEx's Dolphin is fit for the job or I should just forget and look at a different technology.
