I had to log in earlier and just now I had to log in again when I had not logged out. I know that Boonex will log you out after a certain amount of time, a week I think. I also know that if someone logs in from a different IP address it will log you out from the first IP address. Maybe it was just Boonex but it worried me that someone might have gotten the password to my account. Hopefully not. Geeks, making the world a better place |
If we start seeing brilliant, coherent posts, we'll know your account has been hijacked. I'll put out a BOLO. My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |

HL, if you pull that bur out of your arse, maybe you would not be so nasty all the time.
OK, you gave one and I gave one. let's leave it at that.

The forums were a stand-alone script, keep that in mind. I think it still has its own sessions, and they sometimes keel over on their own (if you frequently load other parts of the site before checking the forums, you may not notice this). Thanks Nathan. Just for good measure I changed my password. I don't think anyone would be interested in posting to the forum as me; getting access to my account gets access to the market products I have in my account which means they can download them for free; that to me would seem to be the most likely interest in getting access to Boonex accounts. Has been happening since I joined this rat trap back in 09. Everyone else has already given up complaining about it. All you need to do is pop over to your member page, then pop back, it'll reset the cookie....
unless of course, you're still using Internet Exploder.....
