Does anyone know how to or if the newest platform will allow you to store media content on a different server or external hard drive? As our community grows larger the load on our server increases so our hosting company keeps asking if there is a setting so that the photos, video's, audio's etc... can be stored on a seperate drive or server.
Has anyone explored this, or asked this, or know if this might be possible in the future, I think this option would be Huge for any future upgrades or platforms.
I would imagine that this could free up all kinds of resources for the sites and make them faster.
Anyone have any thoughts or knowledge on this?
