Uploading one photo from Gallery caused this error message:

Unfortunately, Dolphin has stopped. Why?

I just installed Mobile App couple of days ago from the PlayStore. It should be the latest version, but where to check the installed version.

Actually, it not just happened for photo uploading, but also for some action. And it seems at random.

I will report it when it happens again.

I know they had a few fixes and said it would be a few hours for the new version to show on play store...

Should be version 1.7.3 now if i am correct.

Something about correcting crashes if there was no rear or front camera or something like that.

I tested on iPhone 4S and it works adding photo either from Camera or from Gallery.

There are some menus for iPhone App that I didn't see on Android Mobile App, such as Edit, About and bottom menu bar. From About menu, I can check the iPhone Mobile App version number. But for the Android, I even don't know where to get the version info. I only can check where there is an upgrade or not from PlayStore, but it only have two options, Open and Uninstall. So I guess I have installed the latest version of Android Mobile App. I checked again in Galaxy S3 to add photo from both source, Camera and Gallery. The two scenarios have same behavior, once press Save or select photo, then screen become black and waiting for a while, the error message "Unfortunately, Dolphin has stopped" pop out.

Thanks, AlexT:

Just as described in my last post, I tested on both sources, camera and gallery. Both crashed and generated the same error message on Galaxy S3. For the camera, it happened once you press 'Save'. On the other hand, for Galaxy it happened once you touching the photo. Will you double check for both sources. Anyway, good to fix this issue for the new release. By the way, are there a  menu available for the new release, like those in iPhone Mobile App. I even don't know how to check the Android Mobile App version from the App itself. For iPhone Mobile App, I can easily to check version from 'About' menu.

[edit] Version 1.7.3 Android.

I'm getting the photo to upload from the gallery.

My problem is with when setting the photo as "Avatar," it sets, the you try to go "back" and you get an error in a pop up box,

"Exception"

"Socket closed"

then a button that says "cancel"

and when the cancel is done, I get the "Working..." and can only escape to the phone home screen; never stops.

Opening the App back open and it is still working. I discovered hitting the search icon on phone takes it out of this loop.

@jyi123 Android behaves differently, there is separate menu button, so when you are on initial screen with list of sites, press menu button, it will be option to select about page.

Please could you provide version number from about page ?
