Still can't edit email in profile

Told you guys about this numerous times. Still can't change my email address in my profile. Seems to be a problem with the password field not recognizing there's content in it.

I hope you don't need to get hold of me.....

Ok, then maybe we can do this. I'll give you my email address and you can change it for me?

I know you all think I'm stupid but I'm really not.

I found the issue. My original password here has an asterisk in it. Your system for the profile edit will not accept the special character. I entered my password (omitting the asterisk) and the change was accepted.

That's not very cool. It never asked me to confirm my password change or even told me it was changing it but now my email address has been successfully updated.

That's just ridiculous. It's obvious that much of what you do here goes un checked after it's implemented. It's like taking your car to a mechanic who works on it, then gives it back to you telling you it's all fixed without actually checking to see if their repair was successful or the car even starts.

Now I'm not sure if the changes were accepted without actually entering a correct password or if my password was changed because I have NOT tested my repair yet. But what the hell, isn't that how things are done here?

Ok, a cursory test has revealed that my password has been changed.

Now I'm thinking you might want to redo that page, make the member enter the password twice and ask them if they really want to change their address. Not that I'm stupid or anything but what's going to happen when a user inadvertently enters the wrong password?

Hello

Boonex Unity allows to use alphanumeric characters including underscore and dash in the password.

We'll think over the possibility to add password confirmation field in the future Unity update.

Thank you for the report.
