Spamers creating accounts

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone out there know how to get rid of these stupid spammers that creates accounts, I am using Captcha that comes with Boonex but they still create accounts, sometime I can get 10 in one day, very annoying.

Thanks

I did 2 things.

first was split the join form into 2 pages.  the 2nd page only contains this catcha mod: http://www.boonex.com/m/tic-tac-toe-captcha

exactly 0.0 spammer accounts have been successful in signing up so far

yes, I searched before asking....

This may or may not help. I have not had any spam accounts on my newest site, and I do not have any spam modules and my join form is a short single page. I did fear that I would have a lot of spammers, but surprisingly I haven't. In my case, though, I did add a required field for users to enter their Medical License number. One idea I have seen on here is to add a field with a simple mathematically question (what is 1 + 1 - for example) and making this a required field. It may or may not help, as there are some spammers who are real humans so they will actually fill out the fields to create spam accounts.
