Sounds and videos not playing.

Hi All

Due to some good advice from chris in these forums I now have my videos and sounds uploading, but for some reason they will not play. Soon as you select play, the screen changes as if to play but neither a sound or video file will play.

Any ideas?

Do you see any progression in the bar (sliding to the right) as if it were playing?

None at all chris.

Everything with videos and sound seem to be ok now except for the playing of such files. No slider movement, the screen goes black as if its trying to play then just sits there. Ive been looking at the permissions etc to try to see if I can work it out, but to no avail.

Im really stumped and frustrated:-)

Ok.. Do me a favor,

1st - check your /flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe and make sure its set to 777 (it changes it to 644 when you run the RC3 upgrade).

2nd - check the flash/modules/video/files directory and tell me if you have the following 4 files (assuming this is the only video you have uploaded, if not each will have 4 files)

1.jpg

1.mp4

1.mpg
