Sorting Issues or Programming?

It seems like to me that the sorting of information is limited to date added!  HL added a new module that is great called pages and it is sorted by date order or the date it was entered!  It is using the FIFO accounting trick of first in first out as far as a sorting practice.  My question is would it not be a fantastic draw to people to allow positioning by the activity using the activity or spy feature to track and sort by the amount activity done?  IOW the page itself becomes the commodity that is tracked!  Look this is just applying the Google philosophy of wanting and needing attention if you just post it will go to the bottom of the list but if you come back and change things up comments or anything that is tracked by the spy feature then the page moves up the list.  HOW HIGH do you want to be?  "Why is my page at the bottom of the list?" Well you have a static page if you make it more dynamic you will move up the list so get busy...    

It is an incentive to bring them back again and again...
