Something I missed?

Its obviously many language strings did I miss something in the install?

It certainly does appear to be a language problem.  I would clear all caches in the admin. then I would clear the .cache and cache_public directories; then I would select all; recompile languages and see if it clears.

I had the forum module do the [Lforum] thingy again and recompiling languages did nothing.  I uninstalled the forum module; reinstalled and compile languages again and all was well.

Other than the steps above and trying again I don't know.

IOW I read that but got very little from it.  Does it say that you are basically leaving the end user to make new strings for it both in English and Russian or does that mean reset it to the default values?

You know how it is, the official "safe" way and the way WE do things Laughing.  Now I am not going to tell you to do anything because of CYA; however, I can tell you what I would do; I would update my files.  If it works, I am a happy camper; if it breaks something, well then, I was told not to Laughing.
