Some Module Ideas

Okay, I see lots of modules that could easily be slightly reworked, I would think, into something else. Yes, these are ideas that I need personally but I can see the mods being useful to several other site owners.

My ideas are like the recipe modules but one for gardening so that site members could build a data base on their plant photos, info and tips. Wildlife photos and info mod. Bug photos and info mod. These are three that I keep searching and hoping for in the market. I guess the best examples would be Project Noah, if anyone is curious in the types of details for mods like these.

Do these sound interesting to others as well?

Modzzz has a dictionary module that would probably work fairly well with your ideas. With some renaming of the language keys you could list your plants, bugs or whatever alphabetically and have photo's, video's and files for each species.

You can convert some modules quite easily to this.

an easy one that covers all the basics is Modzzz Ultimate Articles module.

Its basically an extended version of the default articles module, but with additional sections and allows users to upload articles.

Then do a case sensative search and replace on everything in every file

articles - recipes

Articles - Recipes

ARTICLES - RECIPES

must be case sensative otherwise will not work.

You may find some html files in there that will have to be edited after you upload them as some editing progs will not save them in the correct format if edited before uploading and installing.

Just an idea...

So far, a couple a great ideas. Modzzz was one that peaked my interest the most.

Thanks guys, I will look into these. Recoding and altering doesn't come easy for me though, nor for many others but I did notice that some had a way to make mod purchases to alter their mods after purchasing them.
