The site runs fine with just a few people on it; however, get around 50 or more and it starts to really crawl. The problem seems to be the mySQL load, it is just chewing through the memory. I noticed that if I put the Forum Topics block on the homepage, it just sits there spinning forever. Could it be the forum is the cause of this heavy load on the mySQL server? The revision is 17255; I have not done any patches past that as I have been too busy. How can I check if the forum is the cause of this without uninstalling the forum module?
