Sitemap.xml issue at Google

hi,

i entered the sitemap.xml at google webmaster tools...

now it shows for all sitemaps 404 errors like example

/cache_public/sitemap_system_0.xml

/cache_public/sitemap_bx_videos_albums_0.xml

....

 same here, but i configure the sitemap in the robots.txt like the instruction said. But i dont see no working

Sitemap is generated once a day, and generated files are located in /cache_public/ folder, if you clears /cache_public/ folder - then sitemap will be broken until it is generated again. 

Also you can check manually if these files are really exists by opening them in browser. 

 ok how the sitemap work? generate more sitemaps inside the cache_public? if that so then we need to put in the robots.txt allow to cache_public folder?

 no, you dont need to because they are linked inside the "/sitemap.xml" file

Ue30 please reissue your mod!!

Actually mine is spot on and after I quit clearing it with cache each time I cleared cache it is working amazingly well and all of my pages are screaming to the top of Google so I am thrilled with the new design.  I have no idea how it is generated or where it is on my site but it does work.  I would love for someone to point it out and clearly others do as well UE30 must understand this and how it works because he supports this... I do appreciate his honesty on this subject as well.  Maybe AlexT can tell us more than it is generated LOL how who and where would be helpful to me.  UE30's report you could see and test and it felt good to be able to cross check on sites that get enormous...

I have the sitemap issues with google and have been working with googlewebmastertools support group & TMDhosting. Very strange and pissing me off, until this morning. 

Yes everything you guys said here are exactly what happend to me. The strange thing is when i submit my sitemap.xml less than 500 urls ---- I have no issues with googlewebmastertool

But when I used my own XML-Standalone generator which let me created unlimit urls.

I also generate sitemap_images.xml & sitemap_video.xml

google gave me all kinds of errors 

googlewebmastertools support group gave up because they said they can't find anything wrong, and help me to created a robots.txt file  and advise me to "Allow all"

I contact XML-Sitemaps.com

They work with me for a few days --- they siad nothing wrong --- They refused to reply to me --- I ask them if i can have the payment from the standalone software to apply to thier monthly services as when I use thier Online sitemap generator, I upload my sitemaps and submit it to google through my googlewebmastertools, My sitemaps are all O.K

This is very strange but I am happy -- the only bad part is i want my sitemap.xml to be unlimit not 500 urls.
this morning I went to xml-sitemaps.com ---- desperately and hope it may works by generate my sitemap.xml with 500 urls limit.
I then submit to google again ---- GUESS WHAT ----- google did not reject my sitemap.xml.

Lucky for me I be able to generate my sitemap_images.xml & sitemap_video.xml

Crazy Craps - But I am happy - I just want to share this with you all.

I also upgreade my 4 sites from 7.1.0 ----- 7.1.1 ------------ Everything working for me without an ISSUE -
