Site stopped working

For some strange reason, my website stopped working. It happened yesterday and today, and the most strange thing it happened in about the same time. I tried to clear the cache and change permissions for cahce folders-did not do any good. I also cannot access to the site via FTP client for a period of time, than it works again. Both website and admin panel not working.

I am using HostForWeb as my host, and at first I thought that it was the deal of the payment,because I had to pay for next month, even though I had about 4 days to do so before the expiry date. I did the payment, and in few hours site was working properly again. And today it happenned again.

What could be the possible reason for this kind of problem? What could cause the possible problems, even thought they did not occur before? Also today I had the errod code on site with time and date, when I changed the default location in needed directory it all was okay again. Could theese 2 problems be linked in some way?

Browser shows no errors, it just it cannot connect to the server.

Would be very thankful for any piece of advice or information!

If its happening at the same time then i would speak to your host to see if their is anything in the server logs.  also have you checked the error logs for your site and the time it fails to see if this shows anything.

Talk to your host. The FTP problem is the clue that it's a server issue and not dolphin.

deano92964, easyhost - thank you very much, hope I will find figure everything with the host.

About the error log - it is full of 'mktime()' errors, which as I said mentioned before I have already corrected.

Today the time site was not working was about 10 minutes, not 2 hours as yesterday. Still a problem issue.

 'mktime()' errors,

 This is a server/node issue, which you will need to speak to your host about. If you have attempted to fix at your level and it still fails then it is most likely a node issue.
