Site still says to upgrade to 7.1.5

Hello. I just finished upgrading my site from 7.1.4 to 7.1.5. It all seemed to go well.

For some reason, the admin panel is still requesting that I upgrade to 7.1.5.

I have altered header.inc.php to reflect the upgrade.

Cleared the site cache. Even cleared my browser cache.

Performed a hard refresh.

Recompiled the languages just in case.

I have removed the "Upgrade" folder.

It STILL says "Update to 7.1.5 now!"

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried that one already, but I tried it again just now a few more times (just in case) and it still says to update to 7.1.5.

Can you check what is stored in the database for the version?  I am not sure if it reads that from the database or the header.inc file.  Others may can tell you more.

Change in header.inc file 4 into 5. that was also one of the manual things you have to do as last.

I just checked the database and it does say it's 7.1.5.

Also, I have quadruple check the header.inc.php file and it does say 7.1.5.

I don't know what else to try.

otherwise try to clear cache folders manually and see what happends

Just tried that suggestion. Still says to update. It's not a major problem I guess but seeing that will update message will bloody annoy me like hell.

Could it be that there is still a row in DB that holds the 7.1.4?
and yes it is annoying!! maybe one day it will magically disappear

I just checked the database and it does say it's 7.1.5.

I searched the database for a 7.1.4 and nothing came up. Searched for a 7.1.5 and one reference was found.

I may have no choice but to wait for the magic option.

Thank you geek_girl and solusoft for trying to help resolve this. Very kind of you both.

How about your web browser cache? Would clearing that help?
